How to Make Comparatives

1️⃣ One syllable → add -er

cold → colder

fast → faster

2️⃣ CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) → double

big → bigger

hot → hotter

3️⃣ Ends in -y → y → i + er

easy → easier

happy → happier

4️⃣ Long adjectives → more

beautiful → more beautiful

dangerous → more dangerous

Short word = -er | Long word = more

Using "too"

Too = More than needed (negative!)

Meaning ❌ More than needed (bad result)

Past Perfect vs Past Simple

✨ Compare the Difference
Past Simple:
He moved to Sydney → then lost money
(moved first, lost money second)
Past Perfect:
He had lost his money → before he moved
(lost money FIRST, then moved)
